Our Small Family Keepsake Studio
The Keepsake Chamber is a small family studio in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, creating personalised keepsakes and décor with the help of a professional CO₂ laser and a lot of hand-finishing.
We work with wood, slate, glass, acrylic, leather and textiles to turn photos, words and moments into physical pieces people actually want to keep – not just another gift that ends up in a drawer.
How it started
The idea for The Keepsake Chamber came from a simple thought: most gifts are forgotten, but the ones that hold a memory tend to live on shelves, walls and mantlepieces for years.
We wanted to mix modern laser engraving with the feel of traditional craft – precise enough for tiny details, but still warm, tactile and a bit imperfect in the best handmade way.
Every piece starts in our studio in South Lanarkshire, where designs are prepared, personalised and sent to our CO₂ laser. From there, everything is hand-sanded, cleaned, checked and finished before it leaves us.
What we make
Our work is split between two big ideas: gifts and home.

Personalised gifts and keepsakes – saving challenge money boxes, couples’ pieces, timeline plaques, “where we met” map plaques, vouchers, milestones and more.

Home, wall and lighting décor – engraved photo plaques, quote pieces, maps and coordinates, story plaques, night lights and seasonal decorations.
Some designs are simple and playful, others are quiet and sentimental, but they all exist for the same reason: to hold onto a moment, story or person.

We try to use materials that feel good in the hand and look at home in real houses – not just staged photos. Wood grain, slate texture and light through acrylic all do some of the storytelling for us.
For people, and for places
Most of our work goes straight to people buying for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, new babies, new homes, Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
We also create branded décor and accessories for cafés, bars, restaurants, B&Bs, hotels and small brands – from engraved keyrings and table numbers to logo displays and guest accessories.
Whether it’s a one-off gift or a full run for a business, the approach is the same: thoughtful design, clear engraving and a finish that feels intentional.
Why it matters to us
We believe the best gifts and décor do two things at once: they look good in the space, and they mean something to the person who sees them every day.
The Keepsake Chamber exists in that gap between “nice object” and “this actually means something”. If one of our pieces makes someone smile a bit longer or remember a moment a bit more clearly, we’re doing what we set out to do.
